Aridi Privacy Policy
Effective 5 May 2026.
Summary
Aridi is a macOS window manager owned by Ni Biashara LLC. Aridi collects no personal information, sends no analytics or telemetry, and makes no outbound network connections. Everything Aridi does happens locally on your Mac.
Data Aridi does not collect
- No account, no sign-in, no email address required to use the app
- No analytics, telemetry, or usage statistics
- No crash reports sent to Ni Biashara (the system-level macOS crash reporter is governed by Apple's privacy policy, not ours)
- No advertising identifiers
- No contents of windows, documents, keystrokes, or screen content
Data Aridi reads on your Mac and never transmits
To do its job, Aridi reads:
- The position and size of the focused window, via the macOS Accessibility API, after you grant the app Accessibility permission
- The list of attached displays and their geometry, via standard macOS APIs
- The names and bundle IDs of items in your menu bar, for the read-only inventory shown inside the app
This data stays on your device. Aridi never sends it anywhere. The app makes no network calls of any kind.
Data Aridi stores on your Mac
Aridi stores your saved workspaces, custom zones, and preferences in its sandbox container at ~/Library/Containers/biz.nibiashara.aridi/Data/Library/Application Support/Aridi/. Removing the app removes this directory.
Accessibility permission
Aridi must use the macOS Accessibility API to move other applications' windows. The grant is requested only when needed and is scoped to Aridi alone. You can revoke it at any time in System Settings → Privacy & Security → Accessibility.
Children
Aridi is a productivity utility intended for general audiences. It is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect any data from anyone, including children.
