Plain-language summary: You buy once through the Mac App Store and get the Ndani Mac app. Private work stays on your Mac. This is an early-access product — it does what the website says it does today, not what a finished AI assistant would do. Support is best-effort email.

1. Who this is between

These terms are between you and Ni Biashara LLC ("we", "us", "Ndani"). By purchasing or using Ndani Desktop you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not purchase or install the software.

2. What you are buying

The Ndani Desktop Pilot is a one-time purchase that gives you:

Access to install Ndani Desktop on your Mac through the Mac App Store.
Access to the current pilot build and all updates released during the pilot period.
Email support for setup and technical issues.

You are buying access to the software as it exists today, described on nibiashara.biz/ndani/. Version 0.2.0 is a local model manager and private file-access proof. It does not include a chat interface, cross-device sync, or team features. See the "What's in v0.2.0" section on the product page for the honest scope.

3. License

We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to install and use Ndani Desktop on your own Mac hardware. You may not:

Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the software.
Reverse-engineer or extract the source code for commercial use.
Use the software to build a competing product.

The license is for personal and professional use on your own machines.

4. Pilot period

This is an early-access pilot. The software will change. Features may be added, removed, or redesigned. We will communicate significant changes by email (the address you used at checkout) and through the app's on-demand update checker. You will not be charged again for updates during the pilot period unless we launch a clearly separate paid product tier.

5. Privacy

Ndani Desktop is designed so that private files, model files, and local AI work stay on your Mac by default. The software does not transmit your files or AI output to our servers. Apple handles Mac App Store purchase processing. Our full privacy policy is at nibiashara.biz/ndani/privacy.

6. Refunds

If Ndani Desktop does not install or run on your Mac, email twe@nibiashara.biz with the Apple ID email used for purchase. Refund handling follows Apple’s Mac App Store process. Supported minimum: macOS 15.

7. No warranty

The software is provided "as is." We make no warranties, expressed or implied, about fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, or uninterrupted operation. This is a pilot product. Bugs happen. We will fix them, but we cannot guarantee a bug-free experience.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ni Biashara LLC's total liability to you for any claim arising from the use of Ndani Desktop is limited to the amount you paid for the software. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

9. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Ndani Desktop to process files or generate content that is illegal, harmful, or in violation of any applicable law. The local-first design means we cannot monitor use — but misuse is your legal responsibility.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Dallas County, Texas, or through good-faith direct negotiation first.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product matures. We will notify you by email before significant changes take effect. Continued use after notification is acceptance of the updated terms.
