Snap windows into thirds, two-thirds, and saved workspaces.

Aridi is a quiet menu bar window manager for macOS. macOS handles halves and quarters natively; Aridi adds the layouts power users actually want — and binds them to keyboard shortcuts that get out of the way.

What Aridi adds

The layouts macOS doesn't do, with the keyboard reflexes you already have.

  • Thirds and two-thirds for the layouts macOS doesn't ship with
  • Custom zones drawn to the pixel and saved with names
  • Workspace profiles: arrange windows once, recall with one hotkey
  • Drag to a screen edge for a snap preview, drop to commit
  • Multi-display moves with Control + Option + Shift + arrow

What it never does

Aridi is local on your Mac.

  • No account, no sign-in
  • No telemetry, no analytics
  • No outbound network calls
  • No reading other apps' content — only window position and size, via the Accessibility API you grant once

How to install

Aridi is a one-time $4.99 purchase on the Mac App Store. No subscription, no in-app purchases, no account. macOS 14 Sonoma or newer. Apple Silicon and Intel.

After installing, grant Accessibility permission in System Settings → Privacy & Security → Accessibility when prompted. The grant is scoped to Aridi only and can be revoked at any time.
